Third-Party Tested

DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide, also known as Emideltide) is a 9-amino acid neuropeptide first isolated from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits during slow-wave sleep in 1974 by Monnier and colleagues. As the first sleep-regulatory neuropeptide to be isolated and characterized, DSIP has accumulated over five decades of published research examining its roles in sleep architecture, neuroendocrine regulation, and stress-response signaling. It is available in two sizes – 5mg and 10mg – on the same product page to accommodate different research protocol scales.

In July 2026, DSIP (listed as Emideltide) was included in the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee review session alongside BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-C, Semax, and Epitalon – reflecting its established research profile. Available in 5mg and 10mg lyophilized format, independently tested to greater than 99% purity. All products for laboratory research use only.

Research Mechanisms

Primary: Delta wave (slow-wave) induction in sleep architecture research – the mechanism that gives DSIP its name
HPA-axis modulation: Studied for effects on corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and cortisol signaling
Neuroendocrine regulation: Interaction with ACTH, somatostatin, and LH release pathways
Sleep-wake cycle research: Circadian rhythm modulation through neuroregulatory mechanisms
Stress-response pathways: Studied for HPA-axis normalization in stress research models
Antioxidant properties: Secondary mechanism under investigation in some research contexts

Available Sizes — 5mg and 10mg

DSIP is available in two sizes on the same product page, selectable via the size dropdown:
• 5mg — Suitable for pilot studies, initial dose-response experiments, or small-scale research protocols
• 10mg — Larger format for extended research protocols or studies requiring more material
Both sizes are from the same production batch, independently tested to the same >99% purity standard, and covered by the same batch-specific COA.

Frequently Ask Questions

What does DSIP stand for and what is Emideltide?
DSIP stands for Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide - named for its ability to induce delta wave (slow-wave) brain activity in early research models. Emideltide is an alternative name used in some clinical and regulatory contexts - it is the same compound. In the July 2026 FDA PCAC review, DSIP was referenced as Emideltide. Both names refer to the same nonapeptide with CAS number 62568-57-4 and sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu.
What is the difference between DSIP 5mg and 10mg?
Both are the same compound at the same purity level. The 5mg vial is suitable for smaller research protocols or initial dose-response work. The 10mg vial is appropriate for larger or longer-duration research programs. Both are on the same product page - select your size from the dropdown. Covered by the same batch-specific COA.
Is DSIP approved for human use?
No. DSIP is sold strictly for laboratory and controlled scientific research purposes only (RUO). Not approved by the FDA for human or veterinary use.
